Yesterday, I preached on the armor of God (Ephesians 6). What stuck out to me is this – most of us don’t typically put on armor in our daily lives. Armor is typically reserved for those going into dangerous and hostile situations. But we all need to realize that there is an enemy that seeks to destroy us everyday on a spiritual battlefield. Our truest battle is against the devil and his schemes, not against each other. But God gives us armor to protect us so we can stand firm while He fights on our behalf. Take a deep look today at the spiritual battle that is going on for your soul and for the souls of everyone created in God’s image. Put on God’s armor to protect you as God fights for you!
